My name is Kristian Poulsen. I am 27 years old and educated as electrician.
Right now I live in Copenhagen, with my wife and my son, where i am studying a master of science degree at Copenhagen Institute of Technology.
I have always been very interested in the nature surrounding us. In the middle of 2007 I decided to invest in my first DSLR camera. I also blog about nature and nature photography on www.kp-foto.com/blog/
I am a hundred percent dedicated nature photographer and loves to capture the insects, animals, plants and landscapes surrounding us.
I do not photograph captive nature/wildlife or nature/wildlife in studios, i only capture nature/wildlife in its natural environment.
I follow the simple guidelines from Wild Photos, the U.K. nature photography symposium:

I will always put the welfare of my subjects and care of the environment above any photographic aims.
I will never use live bait or any bait that will adversely affect the behaviour of an animal.
I will always be honest in declaring the circumstances under which a photograph has been taken.
I will never use digital manipulation to misrepresent a subject or mislead the viewer.

I am a dedicated Canon photographer but i use a lot of unoriginal lenses from Sigma and Tamron to.
In 2008, KP-FOTO became a VAT registered business. KP-FOTO is a Danish nature photography company, with address on Nørrebro in Copenhagen. KP-FOTO employs the dedicated nature photographer Kristian Poulsen. The mission of KP-FOTO is to capture the essence of the nature surrounding us. KP-FOTO photographing all kinds of nature all over the world but mainly in Denmark.Today KP-FOTO managing a picture archive with more than 25.000 pictures.

KP-FOTO works with all kinds of nature photography such as insect-, animal-, plant- and landscape photography.
