My name is Daan Oude Elferink. I was born on march 14th 1978 and I live near Nijmegen (the Netherlands). Early 2009 I bought my first camera, but I really got fanatic, when I came into contact with urban exploring. I searched the internet for a location and together with a friend, I jumped into the car and drove to Belgium. I was immediately impressed with the beauty of decay and the artifacts that shows the history of the building.
At the moment I have a great group of urbexers around me where I regularly go on a trip with. Every time I enjoy the preparation of the trip, the drive to the location (sometimes a 4 hour drive), the excitement to get inside (without being seen), the big smile when I get in, taking the pictures, processing the pictures afterwards and finally sharing the photos with you!
