I was born in 1972 in Tirgu-Mures, Romania, as an ethnic Hungarian. At the age of 16, together with a friend we found an old projector in the attic; we managed to repair it, we bought some other photolab-stuff and so we started to develop our B&W photos in our own little laboratory. I owned a Russian-made Zenit-E camera, which I really loved.

At the age of 19 I moved to Budapest, Hungary. I chose to study computer science at the ELTE University of Budapest. Today Im working as a software engineer and photography has become an old-new passion again.
