I am a passionate amateur photographer from Burlington, VT. My first love was writing--I received my English degree from Middlebury College in 2005--but photography has become a major artistic focus in the past 5 years or so. I'm not sure what part photography will play in my future professional life, but for now, it sustains me aesthetically and serves as an outlet when I am not able to write.

My photography surrounds various subjects, including the natural world, people, and more abstract representations of what I think is beautiful. It also centers around a few places: Vermont, of course, but also Nantucket, MA, and more recently, the Philippines.
