Telecommunication engineer by profession, I currently live in Madrid, Spain.

My interest in photography arose in year 2000 derived mainly from my passion for nature and mountains. After a great deal of deceptions trying to show pictures of the places I have visited to my friends and family I committed to discover the secrets behind those great pictures of the masters so I can better share my feelings and visions about the magic of nature.

All I know about photography comes from three great photographers: Oriol Alamany, John Shaw and Galen Rowell.

The first one, help me to establish the fundamentals about nature photography, the second one showed me to develop the technical and artistic side and with Galen Rowell I discovered my personal style, the kind of pictures that touch my chord, landscape photography combined with dramatic, rare and colourful light.

Although I mainly move around Spain, my passion for photography has also led me to discover the beauty of different places around the world like Argentina, Chile, Tanzania and Vietnam.

I started with Canon SLR analog equipment but from 2004 I have moved to digital discovering new possibilities and boosting this love for photography.

At present I am member of the Madrid Nature Photographers Association (FONAMAD). My work and knowledge have been published both on Internet (Fotonatura.org) and in national (Visión Salvaje, Integral) and international (PhotoArt Magazine) magazines. My photographs have been shown in group exhibitions and slideshows and have won several national and international photo contests.
