My passion for photography is the perfect example that love and hate are very close. I used to hate cameras, being heavy things to carry. It took me 15 cautious years to learn to love them - of which many in the anologue era. Since a couple of years it has become a passion. My favorite photography: macro, nature.
I still hate cameras... but only if someone wants to take my picture.

PS: In case anyone wonders what the 1 is doing in my nickname? In my native language (flemish-dutch) the number 1 is pronounced sounding more or less like the ain in main. Thus, Marl1 then becomes Marlain ;-)
