Wanted to share this nature view from the swedish mountains (Sälen) captured christmas week of 2006.
This was taken on a little photo safari of mine.
These colors of the sky and the top of the trees is very much the result of my use of Cokin filters.
I was standing close to the ice chunks next to the river so my position was not very stable.
Normally these places are very dark and sun is up only for a few hours per day. Still this day the sun managed to reach high enough to lighten up the top part of the trees on the opposite side of the river.
